The Mac cosmetics line created by Toskan and Angelo proved it could withstand these challenges. The Mac cosmetics company's motto later became "All ages, all races, all sexes".
It is obvious they endeavored to live up to their motto, especially when you see the assortment of celebrities that endorsed Mac makeup over the years, such as Raquel Welch, Diana Ross, Liza Minnelli, and Catherine Deneuve.
Mac cosmetics donates all of the money from Viva Glam products sales, which are available in two glosses and six colors of lipstick, to help children, women, and men with HIV and AIDS. In 1994, the Estee Lauder Companies acquired controlling interest and in 1998, finished their acquisition of Mac cosmetics.
